Is It Right For Me?
Honest criteria for who this works best for, and when it may not be the right structure. We say both out loud.
Off your plate. Entirely.
Employing a development team comes with a long list of responsibilities that are easy to overlook from the outside. As a Doosis member, these belong to us.
- Staffing and developer changes
- Managing developer performance
- Developer tooling, licences, and software setup
- Holiday cover and absence planning
- Architecture and infrastructure decisions
- Security patching and maintenance
- Choosing the right technology for each problem
- Technical onboarding of new team members
You do not need a technical background to work with us effectively. You do not need a brief ready before we speak. If you are facing a technical decision you don’t understand, that is exactly what we are there for.
If you're still not sure, a fifteen-minute call tells you more than this page can.
Honest about who this works for
Membership works best when Doosis can operate as your primary technical partner, embedded in the business. Use the criteria below as a guide, not a checklist. When in doubt, a short call will tell us more.
This works well if
- You have budgeted for a part-time or full-time developer and are considering a more flexible way to add technical capacity
- An ongoing need for technical capability, not a one-off project
- You want results, not another supplier to oversee
- You don’t have a large, fully-resourced in-house development team, but would benefit from one
- You’re open to an honest conversation about what’s actually needed
- You’re building something you believe in, and care about how it’s done
This may not be right if
- Your business is still at an early stage for ongoing monthly support (an assessment can help map a sensible starting point)
- You’re a large enterprise seeking a general IT department replacement (a scoped engagement, or listing us in your procurement system, often fits better)
- Your need is a single, defined project with no ongoing maintenance (an assessment can scope it as a project)
- You prefer to closely direct developers rather than delegate to a team
None of the above should stop you from reaching out. If membership isn’t the right fit, a paid assessment can still map a clear path forward: a scoped project we deliver, a spot on your procurement system as a listed supplier, or simply better timing. Book an assessment →
The things that matter and are
rarely said out loud
Competitive conflicts
We do not work with businesses that directly compete with an existing member. If a potential conflict arises, we raise it early, as anonymously as we can, and discuss it with our existing member first. If they have concerns, we decline the new engagement. Either way, we will tell you a conflict exists, without disclosing who or what is involved.
Strict information separation
Your technology, codebases, and business information, including data, processes, strategies, and any insight gained through an engagement, are treated as confidential and never shared or cross-applied to another member. What you tell us stays with us.
What you do benefit from is our collective experience: patterns that work, tools we have built and tested in real environments, and a team that has solved similar problems before, at different companies and different stages. That knowledge belongs to all of our members. Your code and your data do not.
See how it’s priced
No fixed tiers. Your monthly allocation is scoped around your actual needs and reviewed as the engagement evolves.
